I am extremely good at approaching people and speaking to people I have never met. My experience as a journalist and through earning my Girl Scout Gold Award has made me very comfortable in connecting and gaining the trust of others, even if they were strangers before.

Journalism is something I am so truly passionate about. I truly do not see myself pursuing anything else that could make me so happy. I hope, with my love of service and interest in advocacy, I will be able to truly make a difference with my reporting.

Likely stemming from my strong work ethic, I am an extremely reliable and dependable person. I naturally have a mindset of “no excuses” which means if I commit to something, I will follow through. This is demonstrated through my high academic performance and adherence to deadlines for my work.
